Institut de Recherche sur l'Enseignement des Mathématiques de Paris

Organisée par l'IREM de Paris et l'association Animath, cette conférence (en anglais) est consacrée aux « maisons des mathématiques » en Iran. On présentera leur histoire, les activités qui s'y déroulent, leur rôle d'infra-structures pour des mathématiques stimulantes en dehors de la classe.
On insistera sur les aspects didactiques et leur influence sur le comportement des enseignants et des étudiants, tant dans leurs études que dans leur vie quotidienne.

In this talk, the history, and the activities of the Mathematics Houses in Iran, as infra structures for challenging mathematics outside the classroom, with emphasis on mathematics education and its effects on behavior of teachers and students, in their studies and their real lives, will be explained.
